Winter nods. "Yeah I know," she says as she goes to the door and opens it. "I'll be right back," she announces.

Slash nods and rolls off his bed to go to the fridge.

Winter heads back to the booths and finds what she needs. She spends about 2 minutes screaming at the merchant (with him screaming back) before she trots back into the door with a new sketch pad and pencils.

Slash sits on his bed tearing at a corner of raw steak, "that was fast."

Winter shrugged. "I got them for three bucks," she said as she sat on her bed.

(Some of her dialogue with the vendor:

Winter: F*** YOU GIVE ME THE NOTEBOOK FOR THREE DOLLARS!

Vendor: NOT IN YOUR DREAMS LITTLE GIRL IT'S FOUR DOLLARS!

Winter: *pulls out knife* That stuff is three dollars...

Vendor: OKAY OKAY! *throws them at her*

Winter: *smiles and walks off*

Slash shrugs, "cheap."

"Yeah," Winter answers as she starts to sketch something. "My old book was full though."

Slash shrugs and rips off a whole chunk of meat.

Winter yawns as she picks up a colored pencil. "So... you're still hungry after the muffins?" she asks.

"Fast metabolism," Slash mutters as he chews on the fat.

Winter nods and continues coloring.

Slash continues gnawing.

Winter falls asleep on the bed and begins snoring softly. Her head is resting on her book.

Slash moves the blankets on the bed to cover Winter.

Winter sighs and rolls over.

Slash gently strokes Winter's hair for a moment then closes the blinds, "sleep tight," he whispers.

(Yeah uh now what...)

Slash lightly smiles then goes to his bed himself. It only takes a mere minutes to drift off.

(Okay... NOW what?)

By the time dawn had hit the next day Slash was still passed out on his bed, unawakening even as the blinds show light through each crack.

Winter let out another small sigh as she started to stir.

Slash rolls off his bed and manages to land on his feet.

Winter let out a small squeal and kicked her legs out, looking like she was attacking someone in her sleep.

Slash stand up completely and splashes his face with cold water.

Winter woke up with a gasp and looked around curiously.
