"Opid! Don't use that tone with your father!" Lily shouts from the kitchen

"No, He's right, but I didn't mean it like that. I meant it's good that your grades are good. Would you like me to speak with you teacher and straighten every thing out?" Allen sighs. He often felt like a bad father, he didn't even write when he was on the field

Opid sits down and looks guiltily at his father, "No, it's ok... we just don't see eye to eye," he mumbled as he thought about the time he had screamed at his teacher.

The tension builds up until Neo speaks "Dad, have you drawn or written anything since you've been gone?"
Allen nods, he pulls out a paper of a drawing of the entire family. Lily, Allen, Neo, Opid, and...a dog?
"Dad, we don't have a dog." Neo says confusedly
Allen blushes and Lily walks in with a box with holes "Opid, open it."

Opid takes the box and opens it, his eyes filled with curiosity.

A puppy licks Opid's face, it's eyes dancing with happiness
Neo laughs "Who would of guessed it?" She sarcastically ststates while laughing

Opid hugs the dog and whispers into it's ear: "I love you so much! You're going to be my best friend! You can sleep in my bed, and I'll give you all the food I don't eat!"

Neo just stares "Dude, I feel so replaced by a dog...." her face is blank then she snaps her fingers "It needs a name."

Opid looks at his sister. "The dog will never replace you, Neo," he says. "The dog gets its own place."

Neo laughs "I was joking brother, anyway, the dog still needs a name."

Opid nods slowly. "You should name it," he suggests.

Neo looked at the husky. Black and white. She sighs, only thing black and white she could think of was lame, "Panda?"

Opid nods excitedly, "SURE!"

Neo laughs and Panda barks in agreement. "Dad's been quiet..." Neo suddenly states. She turns around to see her dad asleep in his chair. "We should let him sleep, he did come here immediately after being on the field," Neo watches Panda wiggle away and lick Allen

Opid nods, then looks at Panda. "We could train him to sniff out aliens," he suggests.

Neo smiles, in a creepy way by accident "Let's do it!" She eases her face and yawns "But how?"

Opid looked at Panda. "Go find an alien, boy!"

Panda just stares at Opid as if to say What is an alien and licks him in the face then barks happily

"Good going," Neo laughs then stands, "I'm going to bed, see ya in the morning, Panda can sleep with you."

Opid looks ready to explode with happiness. "He can?"

"Yes, I don't see why not, we don't have a dog bed or a dog house yet, and you know I hate have other things in my bed. Knock yourself out," Neo walks up the stairs and yawns.

"Thank you!" Opid almost shrieks. He then stand and follows Neo with Panda trailing behind. "Goodnight, sis."

Neo opens her door throws herself at her bed and doesn't even change, she just falls asleep.

Opid snuggles up in bed with Panda.

Panda rests his head on Opid's lap, but even though it was peaceful something wasn't right.
A creak is heard from Neo's room the a muffled cry of Opid

Opid jumps up and screams. He stumbles into Neo's room. "What is it?"

Neo's just sitting on her bed, gnawing on something "Sorry, did I scare you brother?" Her eyes look past Opid and out the door
At first she was an odd thing, then it made sense as a large shadow loomed over Opid "Hello there Opid," the voice was familiar, Din. A loud metal clink was then heard, long spiderlegs extended from Din's pak, she then pulls out a tray from her pak and sighs "Look, we got off on a wrong foot, could we be friends? I made muffins," Din states thrusting the tray at Opid.
"I eating one, Din is a surprisingly good cook," Neo states happily while Din is just staring at her.
"Anyway, do you accept my Apollo-G?" Din states awkwardly, some things she'd never understand.
