Moonkit purredas she slept beside Icekit.

Moonkit woke up before anyone else. She hissed in annoyance when she wasn't able to open her eyes. She sniffed around the den to see where Icekit was.

Moonkit woke up and felt that Icekit was gone. He had just left... she followed to him outside and gasped as she fell out of the nursery and into the snow. The stunned kit lay in the freezing snow, dazed, then she got up and struggled after Icekit's trail until her unsturdy legs dropped her into a patch of snow and she couldn't get up. She shivered.

Sunkit woke up and started to drink milk.
Goldenmoon woke up and purred. Then she realized Moonkit was gone. "Oceanspray," she figured the other queen would have her kit if she woke up and went over to her. "Where's Moonkit?"

Icekit hears a thump behind him and he rushes to the source "Moonkit!" He squeaks running to where she fell then he drags her to the nursery by her scruff.

Icekit layed her down then tried to keep her warm.

Oceanspray bounded off to get the medicine cat.

Oceanspray comes back with Horseweed "I heard your kit was frozen," Horseweed says his face showing sympathy "The best thing to do is lick it the opposite way her fur goes," he adds. Icekit actually listens for Moonkit's sake and licks her fur upwards.

Moonkit stirred. She didn't think, but instincivly tried to open her eyes. They opened! She sat up and stared around the room. Her mother was rainbow!!! She thought Icekit looked handsome. She yawned and walked back over to her mother.

Goldenmoon purred and wrapped her fluffy tail around her kit. She let her warmth soaked into her kits fur. "Thank you!" she mewed to Horseweed.

Sunkit snuggled up with his mother and sister. He let out a small squeal as her fluffy tail embraced him.

Horseweed bows his head "You have some cute kits," he flicks his tail and purrs

Icekit mews happily "Especially Moonkit!" He bounds to his mother.

Oceanspray folds her tail over her kit and lightly whacks him on his head

Horseweed has a faraway look glazed in his eyes "You like her don't you?" He asks curling his tail around his left back paw as if he was fighting a memory.

Moonkit purred and fell into a deep sleep.

"Mooooooooonkit," a soft call woke her.

"Huh?" she mewed questioningly.

"Moonkit, come!" a stary she-cat gazed at her. "Follow me Moonkit," the beautiful cat bekoned with her tail. Her black pelt blew in a fierce wind and, for the first time, Moonkit realized that the were on a cliff instead of in the nursery. She stared in astonishment when she saw the ground far far below. "We're in the clouds!" she squeaked.

"Yes, and we need to get down there, to the camp," the she-cat mewed. "I'm Rosie by the way."

Rosie leapt off the cloud and ran gracefully to the ground with Moonkit racing after her. She stopped outside the apprentices den and Moonkit peeked inside and saw Icekit. "You know he's leaving," Rosie mewed, "And you must follow him, you like him, yes?"

Moonkit poked at the ground, embarressed.

"I have to go now," Rosie touched Moonkit's shoulder with her tail. "Be good," she whispered faintly. Her voice growing distant.

"And remember, follow you dreams, no matter how insane and silly they may seem, your clan needs you... and someday they will need your kits."

"Don't leave me!!!" Moonkit wailed as Rosie's fluffy black tail vanished.

"I would never," Moonkit heard Rosie's soft mew and caught one last glimps of her icy blue eyes before the dream faded and she woke up in the nursery.

Sunkit snored beside her as she woke up and discovered her mouth felt different. "Hey!" she mewed, "I can talk!"

Icekit leaps away from his mother and licks her ear "That's awesome!" He purrs.

Horseweed flicks his tail off his leg "Did you have a dream Moonkit?" His voice was suddenly serious.

Moonkit nodded quietly. "Yes..." she mewed quietly then she added something else, "But Sunkit has told me about always having dreams about sparkly cats."

Sunkit nodded and managed to say "yesses"

"They come every night and tell me about how i have to tell other cats to eat plants... but what if they don't want to eat the plants!" Sunkit wailed. He realized that he could talk and his eyes lit up.

Horseweed is astonished by the fact Starclan came to a kit again "Starclan spoke to you?" He swishes his tail back and forth in amazement.

Icekit fluffs his fur up "What's Starclan?" He asks grooming his fur.

Horseweed pads over to Sunkit putting his tail on Sunkit's shoulder "Don't feel embarrassed it's great! How would you like to be a medicine cat apprentice when you're old enough?" He asks hopefully.
