Hero's in a cloak of lightning

A bad storm hit during the gathering and half of the trees were set on fire. A cat or two from each clan is sent out to either put out their own fire or help others clans with their fires.(Like Caveclan they have no trees)


Warning if fire is not stopped by midnight on the 28th clans will suffer

Stonefoot raced through the trees with soaked moss in his jaws. He let out a wail around the ball of moss and thunder rumbled around him.

Thornpaw a young Shadowclan apprentice rushed to him mentor less after hearing his wail "Are you okay?!" He asks as he shakes blood off his pelt.

"Yes, fine. I've just got a thorn in my paw." Stonefoot pried the thorn out then asked the same thing back. "How about you?" He picked up the moss he had dropped and started again in his frantick dash the the fire.

"You were struck by lightning?!"

Stonefoot sighed and continued to race threw the forest.

Stonefoot had different plans for his moss. He rolled on it and soaked his fur. Then, when his fur was dripping, he closed his eyes and raced into the fire. He headed for where the stream was. He reached it, coughing, and took a few laps to clear his throat. He soaked moss and threw more and more at the fire.

"I know," Stonefoot replied. His ears stung but other wise he was unharmed. "I held it as best i could, sometimes you have to take risks for the sake of your clan." He spalshed water from the stream onto the fire.

Stonefoot did something he thought he'd never do. He put his paws in the stream. They felt burnt but not very badly.
